Minerva Analytics: Stewardship Code Signatory For Third Consecutive Year
Minerva Analytics has been named as a signatory of the UK Stewardship Code for 2025, retaining its status for a third consecutive year.
Minerva has been a voluntary signatory to the Stewardship Code since it was launched in 2010, reflecting the organisation’s longstanding commitment to responsible investment and good stewardship. Minerva has provided institutional investors with a comprehensive range of stewardship support services since its 1995 launch. Further details on these services can be found in Minerva’s annual UK Stewardship Code report.
Principle 1: Putting Clients First- Minerva’s Stewardship-Driven Strategy
Since the last UK Stewardship Code compliance report, Minerva has continued to enhance its clients’ stewardship proposition.
Our clients’ needs and expectations are the foundation of our strategy. As trusted partners, we collaborate closely to shape and evolve our services in line with their stewardship goals. Year after year, we’ve enhanced our offering—expanding data coverage, refining voting policy guidelines, and strengthening our frameworks—to ensure clients are equipped with the tools they need to lead with confidence and impact.
Three standout developments for Minerva have been enhancements to our shareholder proposal framework, deep dive analysis of asset managers’ voting activity and the evolution of our decarbonisation framework through the acquisition of iClima.
Feedback from investment manager GSI, one of our clients, described Minerva as an “invaluable partner” in supporting its stewardship and proxy voting efforts.
“Their platform offers a rare combination of flexibility, transparency, and depth — allowing us to efficiently manage our proxy voting activity and align it with our investment principles,” said GSI. “Their approach is refreshingly free from conflicts of interest, which gives us confidence that their recommendations are based on objective analysis and long-term stewardship considerations.
“Minerva’s responsiveness, combined with the thoughtfulness of their research and policy insight, makes them a trusted and highly valued partner in our responsible investment work,” they added.

These principles are structured as follows: define; identify; mitigate; monitor and report; train and educate; and review and update.
