CleriMed merges UK and global research teams
Clerical Medical has merged its UK and global ex UK research teams to
focus on new opportunities emerging from increased globalisation of equity
markets, as part of a restructuring of its fund management activities.
The reorganisation involves merging the UK and European
equity teams. The heads of international equities, European equities and global
research will report to a newly created post of head of global equities
Paul Williams assumes this new position after heading
up the UK equities team at the manager. Michael Deakin, director of
investments, said:
"We are taking the opportunity to organise for the
future. The new structure puts us in an excellent position to compete
effectively and successfully."
