HSAM opts for Manifest benefits of online
voting
Hill Samuel Asset Management has appointed proxy voting agency
Manifest to provide its online voting service.
The appointment, made following a review of Hill Samuel's voting
processes, sees Manifest supplying governance research and vote
execution services.
Commenting on the appointment, Hill Samuel director of client
liaison, Bob Prance, said: "We have been long-term supporters of the corporate
governance concept and the importance of encouraging informed voting among our
clients."
Other recent appointments for Manifest include CGU,
Morley Asset Management, Clerical Medical and Lincolnshire
County Council.
